Hungry Arts is a creative company that works with local, national and international artists and performers to help build dynamic new bridges between communities.

Created in 2005, our key focus is developing and producing multi-discipline and diverse arts festivals that provoke new conversations, new collaborations and new artistic commissions. The festivals also provide the perfect space for making new friends and doing something completely different. Learn to Polka or Polonaise, to play the Flamenco guitar; try your hand at the traditional art of wycinanki (Polish paper cuts) or Gypsy paper flowers; savour some delicious pierogi (Polish dumplings). Taking part is when the magic happens.

We believe in the power of art to transform lives and we make that our mission ...

Since 2005 Hungry Arts has produced 9 festivals in 5 different parts of the UK, including the Gypsy Arts Festival (Suffolk; Kent; Edinburgh) and the Polish Arts Festival (Ipswich; Southend-on-Sea). The Polish Arts Festival 2011 gave birth to the Polish Cultural Training Ground for the London Olympics in Southend-on-Sea, supported by Arts Council England, the Polish Cultural Institute and Southend Borough Council.

So, watch this space. Hungry Arts is a not-for-profit company.
